     CREATIVE SEWING WEEKENDS 2026

We have had some great weekends this year and there is one more - 7th - 9th November. It takes place at the New Place Hotel, Shirrel Heath, Near Wickham, Hampshire.  There is also the option of extending the weekend by coming for additional tuition on the Friday 10am – 3.30pm (those opting for the Traditional weekend join the class at 3.30 – 5.30pm).

Wonky Log Cabin Houses and other Wonks! with Jennie Rayment

Make fun blocks - use up all the scraps - no need to sew straight. Why not make a sewing machine cover or bag - alternatively use for a quilt or cushion or even a garment? For those who don't wonk then you are welcome to do your own thing!

UFO’s Galore;

Join Wendy and Jennie and get all those unfinished marvels complete or start a new UFO – your choice – it will fast fun and doubtless very enjoyable – sew to heart’s content.

 

6th - 8th November

It’s Christmas: 

Festive fun and fabulous makes for the season. Come and enjoy!

 

The Venue

The weekends are held at the New Place Hotel, Shirrel Heath (near Wickham, Hampshire).  This splendid listed hotel has a purpose built conference centre, excellent leisure suite and well equipped bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The hotel is fabulously decorated and is the location of breakfast and dinner. Our workshops are held in the well equipped, light and roomy conference rooms. And to relax, there is a large leisure suite with pool, Jacuzzi, gym etc etc – oh and there’s a nice bar!

The price for the weekend is just £425 per person. We also offer day rates for those not wishing to stay, and partner rates for those who wish to bring a partner.  Great news is that the weekend starts at 2pm Friday – with arrival and settle in, then a 2 hour class from 3.30-5.30. We finish at 4pm Sunday.
