Play with shape, form and pattern and construct two or three innovative 12” square textured designs. Amaze at the ease with which intriguing manipulated effects can be produced by just folding, rolling, tweaking and twitching squares and rectangles. Combine a selection of the blocks for an innovative quilt or utilise individually in cushions/bags/quags and all!
It is appreciated that students prefer to complete or almost complete their class sample and each class is carefully designed so this should be possible. All classes are suitable for every level of sewing ability.

Requirements Choose a good quality medium weight calico or select plain/hand-dyed/self patterned cotton fabrics. (Batiks are excellent.) If desired, pre-wash all materials but use a spray starch when pressing to restore ‘body’.
Please cut all pieces before class for Roman Candle and one of the other blocks – cut all three blocks if you wish
